Enterprise Femtocell: Technology and Networks

For small businesses, Ubiquisys enterprise femtocells make a premium mobile experience affordable for the first time. For larger enterprises, Ubiquisys femtocells provide a simpler, low-cost alternative to traditional picocells and Distributed Antennae Systems (DAS).

Ubiquisys enterprise femtocells are available with a capacity of 8 or 16 simultaneous calls, with a power output up to 24dBm. Like all Ubiquisys femtocells, they feature adaptive Radio Resource Management (aRRM), which means no radio engineering is required.

Ubiquisys enterprise femtocells have a unique trick up their sleeve. They talk to each other over the LAN, sharing their observed radio environment, creating neighbour lists and load balancing rules automatically. The result is a self-forming, self-organising femto network capable of providing seamless coverage in buildings of any size and any shape.

These Self-Organising Network (SON) capabilities make Ubiquisys femtocells ideal for indoor public spaces, such as retail malls and municipal buildings.
