LTE Femtocell: Long Term Evolution
Ubiquisys has included all of the Self-Organising Network (SON) capabilities for LTE in its UMTS Femto-Engine software. This was a very solid foundation for the development of our range of LTE femtocells.
Ubiquisys believes that it will be a high density data capacity capability that operators will seek first. To this end we are developing an enterprise/public space LTE femtocell for initial indoor deployments and a dense urban/metro area LTE femtocell for outdoor deployments.
In addition, we know that many operators will need to enhance the data capacity of their network in advance of the widespread launch of LTE, and so our LTE solutions are designed as add-on modules to 3G products which target the same markets.
