Residential Femtocells
Ubiquisys residential femtocells provide a premium mobile experience, with outstanding voice quality throughout the home and full speed mobile data.
A range of standalone femtocells, integrated femto home gateways and snap-on modules are available for UMTS bands 1, 2 and 5. Iuh, IMS and GAN network interfaces are supported.
Ubiquisys residential femtocells are commercially deployed by SFR in France and by SoftBank Mobile in Japan.
The foundation design is the G3-mini. This standalone femtocell stands just 8cm tall, yet delivers 8 simultaneous calls and 14.4 Mbps HSPA data speed. The G3-mini sets new environmental standards too, with an energy consumption of just 4.5W.
